If you prefer to stay away from the water, but still enjoy some of the sculptures at Punta Nizuc, you can board a glass bottom boat. This experience includes a 40 feet boat trip through the Nichupté lagoon and the mangrove channels. After a 45 minute ride, you will reach the reef and finally you will see from the window in an air conditioned boat, the view of the underwater world. The boat has capacity for 30 people. In this tour you can see part of the Mesoamerican reef, the second largest in the world after the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
Besides the natural beauties of the corals and the reefs, you will see the sculptures of MUSA such as Diego, the Anchors and the Speaker, among other works of various artists such as Jason de Caires, Roberto Díaz Abraham, and Elier Amado Gil.
