JASON DECAIRES TAYLOR
Born in 1974 to an English father and Guyanese mother. Educated at the London Institute of Arts and graduated with a BA Honours degree in Sculpture.
Taylor is also a fully qualified diving instructor, underwater naturalist and award winning underwater photographer. Taylor is currently based in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, where he is working as Artistic Director of MUSA
KAREN SALINAS MARTÍNEZ
Karen Martinez Salinas was born in Mexico City, the location where she discovered and began her creative journey in art. She studied visual arts at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas (ENAP) part of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), obtaining a degree with a major in sculpture and printmaking.
She currently works as a freelance visual artist, developing projects pictorial, photographic and sculptural.
ROBERTO DÍAZ ABRAHAM
Born in Mexico City on May 11, 1951. Roberto graduated as an ITAM Economist with a MBA from the University of Boston and a diploma from IPADE. He is currently; Director of CCE, Honorary Consul of Hungary in the state of Quintana Roo and founding member and President of MUSA.
He is also an accomplished Ceramist and Sculptor with over 33 years of experience working with clay alongside master Japanese ceramist Makoto Yabe and Laura Ramirez Leal.
RODRIGO QUIÑONES REYES
Rodrigo Quiñones Reyes (1981, México City), Bachelor of Visual Arts at the School of Arts of Yucatan specializing in cultural management, curacy and contemporary art productions.
Quiñones’s work over the past 10 years has been divided between research and contemporary art production and has been published in El Universal (newspaper), Journal Code 06140, Replica21 and the Boston Globe among others.
SALVADOR QUIROZ ENNIS
Founder of CONCEPTO M studio, which specializes in museums, exhibition design and art installations. Salvador studied industrial design in Mexico and Milan and has been involved professionally in projects related to architecture, ecology and communication.
He recently designed an exhibit for the Museum of Cinema in Mexico City, and has developed installations in Germany, France and USA.
ELIER AMADO GIL
He is passion for art took him to the National Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro, where he graduated with a degree in Sculpture in 2006. Six years later, Elier chose Mexico as the place to continue his work as sculptor where he joined the Culture Institute in Cancun as a Teacher.
It was during his time there, when he met Gena Bezanilla, the now Chief Executive of MUSA, with whom he joined talents to put together a painting exhibition.
